Concept

Art Platform Tokyo was founded to provide emerging artists in Japan with alternative channels to showcase their artwork. Cutting edge contemporary art, Japanese traditional painting, or craftwork…regardless of conventionally categorized genre, our aim is to present these artists’ voices and introduce their unique expression to the outside world.

Projects

Art Space

We organize four exhibitions annually at the gallery space in the ANA InterContinental Tokyo, and introduce artwork by contemporary artists. The hotel is conveniently located in the Akasaka, Roppongi, Toranomon area, one of several international business centers in Tokyo. It is open 24 hours, welcoming art fans at any time of the day.

Web Platform

The bilingual web page introduces and follows the work of the artists exhibited at the hotel. We can also support the sales of the work.

Others

Art platform Tokyo supports local artists who aim to work on a global stage. We provide support for document preparation including artist statements and application forms to those who wish to participate in art residencies, international study and exhibiting abroad. We introduce our artists to collectors and curators within Japan and abroad, assisting them with expanding their networks.
