今回の展示では、本展のために制作した新作と、ここ数年のあいだに取り組んできた作品をそれぞれ数点ずつ展示している。

近年は、絵やイメージがどのように成り立つのか、またそれを人がどのように知覚するのかというメカニズムに関心を持ち、制作を続けている。

本展では、異なるルールや性質を持つモチーフや絵具を繋ぎ合わせることで生まれる新たなビジュアルの成り立ちを模索している。

For this exhibition, I’m presenting a selection of new works created specifically for the show, alongside several pieces I’ve developed over the past few years.

Lately, I’ve been increasingly drawn to the mechanisms behind how images come into being, and how we as viewers perceive them.

In this body of work, I explore how new visual form scan emerge by connecting motifs and materials that follow different rules or possess distinct characteristics.
