アーティスト・ステイトメント
山本和真は、イメージが固定化さることなく、絶えず変化し続けることで生まれる捉えがたい異質さを主題に制作を続けている。近年の作品では、上と下、物質と精神といった相対的な事象が対立と調和を繰り返す関係性に焦点を当て、その流れを絵画によって可視化することを試みている。さらに人類の及ばない知覚の存在までをも捉えようとしながら、鑑賞という異なる幾多の目を通し、一つの多面的な状態を出現させることを目指す。
Artist Statement
Kazuma Yamamoto explores the elusive sense of otherness that emerges through the constant transformation of images—never allowing them to become fixed or static. In his recent works, he focuses on the interplay of opposing yet interrelated phenomena, such as above and below, or the material and the spiritual, depicting their ongoing cycles of conflict and harmony. Through painting, he seeks to visualize these fluid dynamics, while also attempting to capture realms of perception beyond human comprehension. By inviting diverse perspectives through the act of viewing, Yamamoto aims to evoke a multifaceted state of being within a single artwork.
